Huawei annuncia il suo primo terminale Windows Phone della famiglia Ascend

Dopo la presentazione ufficiale di Windows Phone 8 avvenuta ieri in occasione dell’evento Windows Phone Summit, sono stati confermati i principali costruttori di terminali Windows Phone che accosteranno Microsoft.

 

Dopo la dichiarazione di HTC e dei suoi prossimi terminali Windows Phone, Huawei ha rilasciato un comunicato stampa dove ufficializza che il suo primo smartphone basato su Windows Phone 8 sarà della famiglia Ascend. Questo terminale dovrebbe arrivare inizialmente in Cina, Stati Uniti ed Europa e successivamente espandersi su altri mercati. Sarà commercializzato attraverso una serie di attività promozionali in collaborazione con i principali operatori di telefonia mobile in tutto il mondo.

Shao Yang, chief marketing officer, Huawei Device afferma che il 2012 sarà un grande anno. Con l’introduzione del primo smartphone in esecuzione sulla piattaforma Windows Phone, Huawei è entusiasta di questa relazione con Microsoft che gli permetterà di fornire ai propri clienti una vasta gamma di smartphone Huawei.

Terry Myerson, Corporate Vice President di Windows Phone da il benvenuto all’azienda costruttrice di terminali mobile e punta sull’importanza di Huawei per portare Windows Phone 8 nelle mani di più persone nel mondo.

Expanded relationship with Microsoft signals Huawei’s ambitions to solidify its leadership in the global smartphone market

Shenzhen, 21 June 2012: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced it is expanding its relationship with Microsoft Corp. for the creation of Huawei’s first Windows Phone handset. Part of the Huawei Ascend family, the company’s portfolio of best-in-class smartphones, the Huawei Ascend with Windows Phone 8 expands Huawei’s smartphone portfolio and brings the Windows Phone operating system to an even bigger audience. Huawei is one of the selected vendors in the world to carry the Windows Phone 8 operating system on its smartphones.

“2012 is building up to be a great year for Huawei. Now, we are poised to end the year with a big bang – with the introduction of our first smartphone running on the Windows Phone platform. We’re very excited about this relationship with Microsoft which will enable us to provide our customers with a bigger array of Huawei smartphone choices,” says Shao Yang, chief marketing officer, Huawei Device.

The Huawei Ascend with Windows Phone 8 is expected to be available in Europe, China and United States, with other markets to follow. It will be marketed through a series of promotional activities in conjunction with key mobile operators around the world.

      Vero! A Dicembre 2010 ero intenzionatissimo a prenderlo, spinto dal prezzo, poi ragionandoci un po, ho preso l’LG Optimus 7! :)

    Quasi tutti gli smartphone recenti marchiati Vodafone sono huawei, si trovano in qualsiasi negozio o megastore

    Huawei fa terminali dall’eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo… Data la bontà dei suoi prodotti, non lo si può più nemmeno definire un marchio low cost…
